SHORT BIO
Nathalia is a Colombian-born children’s songwriter, performer and author based out of Los Angeles. She has released five original bilingual albums, a children's book and was recently a grand-prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Competition. Additionally, Nathalia has been a featured guest on Univision's 'Despierta America’, CBS's 'The Talk' and her music has been played on SiriusXM Kid’s Place Live. As a Board Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Nathalia has worked in a variety of educational and clinical settings including hospitals, schools, nursing homes and treatment centers. Her experience as an early childhood music education inspired the formation of First Start Music, a curriculum-based program that serves pre-schools throughout the Greater Los Angeles area. An active member of the Recording Academy and the Latin Recording Academy, Nathalia is an advocate for music makers and enjoys leading workshops on the importance of music in education. She cites her South American heritage and passion for bilingual education serve as major influences in the content she creates.
